Service King welcomes new Chief Financial Officer

Service King announced the hiring of Peter Hunt as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Peter Hunt, Service King’s new CFO

Hunt comes to Service King with decades of C-suite leadership experience. His background includes developing strategic direction, directing operations and managing finance organizations for publicly traded commercial airlines such as Pinnacle Airlines, where he served as CFO, and Virgin America, where he served as President and COO of subsidiary Alaska Air Group – all after acquiring his start in the finance organization at Continental Airlines.

“Having worked closely with Peter at Virgin America for seven years, I am confident that his extensive experience will propel Service King’s success and provide our organization with some new tools in its toolbox,” said David Cush, CEO by Service King. “He brings a proven track record of high-level critical thinking and strategy development, significant skills and experience in the traditional CFO role and direct operational experience in the highly complex aviation industry. Personally, I look forward to working with Peter again and I know you will all enjoy working with him.”

As Service King’s CFO, Hunt will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial governance, including accounting, tax, financial planning and analysis, and capital structure. His wide-ranging organizational responsibilities at Alaska Airlines will be useful as Service King transitions from the current environment of labor shortages and supply chain disruption to a more normalized operating environment. Hunt will assume his duties on February 4th.

“I’m thrilled to be part of this industry-leading brand and look forward to working with the more than 5,000 teammates at Service King,” said Hunt.
