Savannah Guthrie Weight Loss: Workout Routine, Diet Secrets

today anchor Savannah Guthrie enjoys trying new exercises to incorporate into her fitness routine. The mother-of-two has been very open about her exercise regimen and diet in the past while opening up about her health journey on the NBC program.

Savannah was a member of the today Team since 2011. She gained millions of fans around the world through her coverage of major news events. Longtime viewers of the show were thrilled when the blonde beauty announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband at the age of 42 Michael Feldman in March 2014. Their daughter Vale was born in August 2014.

Two years after the arrival of her baby girl, Savannah gave birth to their son, Charlie, at the age of 44. Savannah shared her happiness at becoming parents later in life in an April 2019 interview persons.

“I’ve always wanted to be a mom and it took us so long to get married – we’d been together for so long – that we thought maybe it was too late and we’d missed our chance,” she explained. “When we found out we were pregnant, I don’t think there were happier people on the planet.”

Between her two pregnancies, Savannah gave viewers advice on how to lose baby weight on a January 2015 episode of See what’s happening live! With Andy Cohen.

“Oh my god, don’t drink so much. I had to do that!” she said. “Really, honestly, and actually I need to lose ten pounds just to get [back] to what I previously weighed.”

While Savannah is very into fitness, she has also been very open about body acceptance.

“It’s a lifelong struggle for me. I’ve never felt good about how I looked on the outside,” said the former White House correspondent Health in April 2019. “I think we women spend so much time not feeling up to the mark. And what a waste of energy. I’m not there yet, but that’s my goal.”

It was important to Savannah that her daughter grow up with the mentality of embracing who she is and not feeling pressured into looking a certain way.

“I just don’t want to do that to her,” said the broadcaster. “It keeps us from being happy. We should be happy and proud of our bodies.”
